Drawing Us Together - Pindan Dream Princess Book Publication
To recognise NAIDOC Week 2020, Dubbo Square partnered with Sylvia Lockyer, a WA Pilbara indigenous author and four local schools to create a 12-page children’s story book based around social cohesion and community.
When the story was complete, Dubbo Square submitted the content of the book to the participating schools who were asked to design the illustrations that would feature on each page.
Students from Dubbo Public School, Dubbo South Public School, St. Pius X Primary School and St. Laurence's Catholic Primary School all submitted a beautiful range of illustrations from students in Kindergarten to Year 6. The artworks were then put on display in the September/October school holidays and the public were asked to lodge their votes for their favourite illustration.
With the voting now complete, we are thrilled to present final edition of our completed book titled, Pindan Dream Princess. The read and view the Pindan Dream Princess please click here
